Another EXTREMELY long day,
but another awesome one!

This week has been awesome so...I think it is partly due to how awful last week was comparably.

Kitty was being ultra sweet this morning after I got done with my workout.

She was lying on her back, hiding her face under my pillow ^ w ^

I also ate a nummy, healthy breakfast.
(I know, right?....I should probably get myself checked into a mental institution....)

Eggs and half an apple!

So this is how I spent the other half of my 3-D Design class.
The first half was spent standing up watching more wood shop demos.

(Eetz a Flapjack)

Then in my Graphic Design class, the stupid Internet had blocks up on some of the comps still because they didn't fix all of them.  Mine was one that wouldn't let you into any email, and
NO FACEBOOK.
What the heck are we supposed to do during that class??
PAY ATTENTION?

So I resorted to other means of status updating via Facebook Mobile.

Then Lucas told me to draw this:

So I did.

I stopped at the MacDonald's on the way out of town to meet my cousin so that she could give me some leasing papers for the apartment.

S***'s goin' down.

The Sunset was awesome coming home today!!!

When I got home, BOTH kitties were sleeping on my bed!

They're so sweet sometimes, even though they really hate each other.

Before I went to bed I did a crap load of studying for Japanese....I used to have at least two hours every other night to sit up and really study what we have been going over, but as of recently, I haven't found the time so I feel like I'm missing something....

That spider bite is still on the back of my leg...it still itches.

I sprayed some Benadryl on it.  I think it really helped...

<3

Also, I thought that my mom would appreciate this, in a weird way.

The opening on my blister is heart-shaped.

You can kind of see it, but not really.
You can see it up close though...

We have this weird thing about seeing hearts in nature and random places.

My poor hands are covered in blisters.

That's about it for today....
I can't believe that it's only Tuesday.
That stinks.....but oh well.
At least this week has been awesome so far!
I'm just ready for it to be over....
(The school week...not the awesomeness.)

My thighs hurttttt...
It's not going to be any better tomorrow.

ALSO

Exciting news!

Dustin has applied for a trip to Japan that will put us in Japan during the same time!!!

YAY!!! A FRIEND!!!!

Another long, but awesome day!

I got up, washed my face, got dressed, and worked out!
I'm so glad that I did....
After I worked out I had some coffee and sat with my mom for a bit because I played drums.

The pecan grove I pass every day was looking particularly nice, as it was mowed over the weekend!

I was running just a little late today, but got to school in time to walk leisurely to class and still have time to sit outside in the awesome weather.

(The Ambiguously Gay Duo in Japan)

After Japanese, Dustin and I grabbed some lunch at Beijing Cafe

I got Chicken and Vegetables,
trying to be adventurous and get something different.

I made a mistake...it was okay, but you can NEVER go wrong with the Chicken Fried Rice.

After lunch I went to CAH and listened to a lot of BS for two hours, then got last week's test back that I didn't even bother to look over material for.

I got a 97.

The whole way home I was eager to go for a jog once I got home....

AND I ACTUALLY DID!

I went jogging for about 10 minutes in this outstanding weather and loved (almost) every minute of it.

It got pretty hot after a while and I haven't ran in a long time, but I think that I did pretty well considering.

My dad grilled his amazing Honey Mustard chicken for dinner and we had that, (peas that I didn't eat), creamed corn, and sweet potatoes.
It was amazing.

Then after dinner I played drums again, further irritating my already busted blisters.

I'm retarded sometimes.

Also, I ruined part of my diet by eating the M&Ms that Dustin got for me yesterday as a treat for cleaning.

Oh well.
It was totally worth it.

Even if working out doesn't yield IMMEDIATE results, I at least feel amazing for the rest of the day because I did something that was good for me.

I find that I'm also not as hungry when I exercise.  Maybe that's the trick...you just have to force yourself to work out more and you won't be as hungry, so you burn more calories cumulatively.....

I dunno.

There's a crazy catch to all of this dieting and working out crap, I'm sure.

Maybe it's all a hoax.

A MINUTE TOO LATE!

It was a
B-E-A-UTIFUL DAY TODAY!!!!
Oh my gosh!!
Perfect clouds, perfect weather, everything was perfect!!!
I wish that I had been outside today!
O n O

I got up and got some coffee, pooted around for a bit,
took a shower, cleaned off the screen porch, drew a picture,
then Dustin said that I could come hang out with them over at Lucas's house today.

I got ready and headed over around 1:30.
I got there and settled in, putting on Jimmy's "Chase This Light" album that I have been obsessed with for the last 24 hours and will be for all of the coming week.

I was prepared a delicious Everything bagel.

It was awesome.

I cleaned the kitchen all afternoon until about 6/6:30 when I helped Dustin cook, chopping veggies and cutting chicken for his General Tso's chicken!
It was soooo good.

When Dustin and Moss got back from their grocery trip for dinner, they surprised me with flowers and Caramel Cadbury chocolates as a treat for cleaning <3

I have the best brothers anyone could ask for.

After dinner I was so full of peppers and things that my tummy doesn't like (but that I love) that I felt sick and ended up having to lie down on the couch and cat nap it off.

I think I was about for about 20 or so minutes before I got up and we watched some ATHF and had cookies and ice cream once Lucas got back from his grandmother's.

It was a really awesome day....it totally makes up for yesterday's ultra-crapiness.

I am FORCING myself to work out tomorrow.

This is going to be a really good week.
I'm excited.

I don't even really know why.

Another really LONG day.

Where are these long days coming from??

I tried to sleep in a little this morning but it didn't really work.

I got up and had a cup of coffee and sat with my parents in the living room for a while.

After that I forced myself to start working on a new bag that I have been wanting for a while...
I had some scrap suede-ish black fabric and wanted a big bow bag.

Only thing is, I didn't have any interfacing, so I'm not sure what the next step will be.

(it's showing the wrong side of the fabric here, but that's basically what I'm hoping for it to look like.

I haven't sewed something in a while...I really need to be working on my Yuna costume.
I am going to regret not doing it on these boring weekends at home come time I get back from Japan and AWA springs up on me!

That's about the most productive thing that I did today...
we got my room moderately straightened again....
I was NOT feeling the whole room-cleaning thing.
It sucked.

I watched some of my "Misadventures of Flapjack" DVD that Lucas got me for my birthday, but I was falling asleep during the first half of it, I have been so tired today.

My dad went to pick up some lunch and took DeeDee with him.
He got a free chicken strip from the cashier for being so darn toot.

I kept hoping that some plans would pop out of nowhere today, but they never really did.
Ah, well.

Maybe there will be something up next weekend.

I finally got/downloaded Jimmy's "Chase This Light" album and I love it already.
I have listened to "Dizzy" about 10 times already.

I'm really glad that tomorrow is Sunday and not Monday.

Next week is going to dragggg.
Good thing is, I only have about 3 more weeks left!!!

YAY!!!

I'm soooo ready to be done with school and move on, it's not even funny.

Lonnnggg day today....
I was supposed to get up at 6:30 but for some reason my body decided that it was time to get up around 6:12...but if I'm up and I feel rested, then I don't care about waking up early, I actually prefer it rather than sleeping in the whole time and not wanting to get up at all.

So I got up and got ready to go, and was running about 15 minutes late when I got to Dustin's around 7:45.  Moss was just leaving for breakfast with his co-workers before the last day of his first week of work, which he said that he is really liking, which makes us all happy for him.

We stopped through town on our way to get some coffee to go, so that I wouldn't run us off the road and cause us to die in a fiery car crash....
I don't remember exactly what I got, I think it was a hazelnut vanilla iced latte or something....
I believe Dustin called it a "vanilla haze iced latte."
Which sounds like a totally made up name to me, but I don't care because it was delicious.

So I drove down to Valdosta and dropped Dustin at the FA, then took myself on an adventure to Kohl's for the first time.

I had been in a Kohl's before, but I didn't get to shop before I had to leave.

It was awesome....let's just say, 80% off racks = my new favorite.

I got a cute black sweater, and a pretty silver feather necklace <3

So after that shopping extravaganza, I went back to the school and got a pretty decent parking spot at Oak St. considering it's one of the busier parking days AND there were a lot of visiting prospective students today on campus.

I went to the Student Union and got one of our two usual spots picked and camped there for about an hour before Dustin showed up with nuts.

Peanuts that is....and the Honey roasted ones were
AMAZING.

We studied our flashcards and dodged the cleaning crew the whole time, also planning what to do after class:
We decided
1) If we got out early (due to the fact we had a sub)
then we would go to Masato for lunch.
and
2) If we didn't, then we would do Beijing Cafe
or
3) Go to the mall and get something there.

We decided on the mall.

After our leisurely walk to class on what may very well be the most BEAUTIFUL DAY EVAH, we sat outside in the shade, thinking that we were waiting for a class to get out.

There really was no class.

But Dustin thought that it would be hilarious to throw pollen pods and pulled up dirt/grass all over my legs that were forced to remain in a lady-like fashion.

I'm so pale.

After class we went to the mall, which was quite busy due to tax-free day....
we ate Chick-fil-A and then went into Hottopic because I was looking for some t-shirts.

I didn't find the specific "For Today" shirt that I was looking for, but I did find something possibly better.

YEYAH.

I was very pleased.  So was the bearded-employee that complimented my choice and revealed to me that they had a new ABR shirt come in that morning.
(but it was long sleeved).

After meeting up with Dustin in Old Navy, we left for home and stopped by Grassroots again and he bought me another coffee, making him even with me, one was for gas and the other was for the dvd I picked up for him in Cairo.

Hooray for payment in Caffeine Currency!

This was some sort of Amaretto frappe I think....it was very very strong at first, but very very good the more I drank.

On my way home from dropping Dustin off at his house I called my mom and we spontaneously decided to do something!
I knew that she had been waiting for Date Night to come out and it had just opened today, so I asked her if she would want to go see that.

We thought about just going into town to see it, but I am always more than disappointed with my movie-going experience in Thomasville because the seating isn't in stadium style, so I always get stuck behind someone taller than me (which isn't really a difficult thing to do).

When we got there, we picked up our (pre-ordered because my mom is crazy) tickets, and then went to Bath and Body Works to waste the HOUR that we had before our movie started.
I wanted to smell the new scent they had out that I saw everyone raving about, "Orange Sapphire."

It smells AWESOME.
Like a spritz of orange peel.

They were having a special sale or something or another, so me and my mom ended up getting about 6 small body splash bottles of assorted scents (all different) and I got an "Orange Kiss" Lip gloss that is really sweet and smells good!

When we got back to the AMC we decided that popcorn would be a sufficient dinner.

There were also gates....
apparently they need them for the feeding time of the movie-goers at AMC....
Things can get pretty crazy at concessions....

The movie was really cute and entertaining.  My mom loved it.
I wouldn't pay to see it again, but I would definitely watch it if it came on TV.
It was good.

わたしたち は えいが を みました。
(we learned past-tense today...)

I lurrrrve the movies.

On the way out of Tally I air drummed to ABR and my mom sat quietly...then I put on something that she would recognize:
JIMMY!
We karaoke'd the whole way home.

All in all, it was an incredibly long day, but an incredibly good one.

Hopefully this whole weekend will be awesome.

It's been a very long and hectic week.

Ohohohohoh!!!
Also,
I just found out that I could be going to Japan as early as June 3/4!!!
CRAZY!!!
