Today seemed super busy....this whole week has been like that so far.
Hopefully things will settle down soon.

I was supposed to get up at 6:45 this morning to be ready to register for classes at 7:00, but I woke up at 4:45 instead and couldn't get back to sleep for another half hour or so due to the worst clogged nose I have ever experienced.

It sucked.

So I finally got to sleep and was probably in a deep sleep for about 30 minutes before my mom came and woke me up again to register.

I felt like death, but managed to get myself up and wash my face.

Registering online was ridiculous. There were probably at least hundreds of other students also registering at that time, so the server was really lagging.
Very frustrating.

Good news is that I got into all of the classes that I wanted!

There was only one spot left in two of the art classes (Jewelry making and Sculpture), and I got them! It was worth it to get up that early so that I wouldn't have to truck it all the way around campus trying to get people to override me into the classes.
The whole process took about 15 minutes.

I'm currently (and hopefully permanently...) registered for:

Jewelry Making I
Sculpture I
Graphic Design I
Introduction to Landforms
and
a Perspectives class
(I'm not exactly sure which one...I can't recall at the moment)

So that's taken care of at least.

After that, I took a 4-hour drowsy allergy pill and went promptly back to sleep.
It took about 15 minutes to get comfy and unstuffy-nosed, but I got back to sleep and slept for the whole two hours that I had and woke up about 10 minutes before my alarm went off.

My mom brought me back some breakfast after going to get her hair cut this morning, so I had something yummy <3

About 10 minutes away from my house I realized that I had completely forgotten to put on deodorant.....this has only happened a handful of times and I hate it because I'm constantly worried about it for the rest of the day....but I was able to leisurely walk to class and had a cool breeze going the entire time, haha.
I did sweat, as per usual, but for some reason I rarely stink.
I only stink if I haven't showered, but I can go a day without deodorant for some reason.
*shrugs*

Speaking of the walk to class...
I think I have posted a picture before, but just in case...
Here is a glimpse of the Camellia Garden that I walk through to go to Japanese class:

When I got to class I was about 30 minutes early so I sat down outside (because it's way cooler than inside that building).
When I did, I looked down at my foot and noticed that whenever I moved my foot, a large cloud of pollen would rise into the air and disperse, probably targeting my eyes (because nature hates me).
So it did not take me very long to decide that the whole "sitting on the ground outside" thing was not a very good idea.

I know I posted this pic a few days ago, but I finally found out what kind of tree this is:
It's called a Sargent Crabapple Tree.

It's so beautiful, the little blossoms are so pretty, and the leaves are really nice too.
They fade from greens to reds.

We started learning kanji today in class.....oh Lord.

What we are working on with particles is hard enough, now we're throwing in new characters....
gee whiz.

After class Dustin and I got to go to lunch for the first time in a while (not counting when we went with Anna last week). He said that he had been craving a chicken quesadilla for two weeks and wanted Moe's (which I had never been to), so that's what we had.

I had eaten before I went to school and decided to get something little.

Like nachos.

Except I didn't know that it was a basket-full of fully-loaded nachos, including beans, chicken, cheese, jalapenos, and amazing deliciousness.

I ate all of it.

After a very long segment of Contemporary Art History, I was able to go home, also, may I mention....
WITHOUT GETTING STOPPED AT ANY OF THE VALDOSTA DOWNTOWN OR UPTOWN REDLIGHTS.
THANK YOU,
THANK YOU VERY MUCH.
*does a dramatic bow or two*

When I returned home, my bathroom cabinet had arrived from WalMart.com!

I thought about putting it together on the deck since the weather was so nice today.

Then I looked outside at our deck.

Notice how everything is yellowish green?

Yeah, that's bad.

So I just set up shop on the kitchen island.

Needless to say, my mom was thrilled that I had decided to take up more house-space with another crazy project.

Here it is half-way through:

And completely finished!
The whole thing took probably an hour to construct.
I could have done it faster if I had the electric drill sooner.
It was so much fun, I love putting together furniture like that.

I'm so excited to get my bathroom redone.

Tonight after dinner I just sat on the couch and scratched, I mean...REALLY SCRATCHED the heck out of my eyes for about 30 seconds,
all the while my mom saying:
"STOP IT! IT'S BAD! YOU'LL RELEASE HISTAMINES! TRUST ME, I'VE BEEN THERE! IT DOESN'T HELP!"

Ohhhh but it did.

I have never felt so relieved and wonderful in my life.
That was the best thing in the entire world.

After that, I decided to study some Japanese before Friday because I knew that tomorrow would be busy.

When I got done with the homework I just kind of sat back and was amazed at what I'm able to do now compared to in January before I started this class.

I'm actually able to form and understand sentences, read, write, and (kind of) speak a very difficult language.

It's just nuts to me that our brains can process and store this information the way that they do.

Come onnnn weekend!

I think that I have been missing posts lately...

This morning I had an eye-doctor appointment in Cairo and my mom went with me.
They decided to do the whole shebang and refigure my prescription (which badly needed it....I couldn't read anything on the charts....), run about three tests, and then do the GLAUCOMA TEST AGHHH I HATE IT. IT MAKES ME JUMP LIKE 3 FEET EVERY TIME.
Then I picked out some new frames for my glasses! The lady in there "helping" was being a total turd. I think that when I look for myself some glasses, that it should be ME deciding how our (average of) $150 is going to be spent. The whole time she was like "I don't like those, those are too big" when I would try on a pair that I really liked. "Those are too expensive....those require special frames......that's too dark.....try these....no, don't look at the mirror, look straight ahead at me."
SHUT UP AND LET ME PICK MY OWN GLASSES.
YOU GO TRY ON SOME IF YOU WANT TO HAVE AN OPINION.

jerkface.

Anyways...I am really glad that the glasses salesman/stock guy came in today, because if he hadn't, I wouldn't have ever found my new glasses!

They are Lilly Pulitzer's "Serena" model.
Very cute, simple, and elegant I think.

They make me look all smartz 'n stuff.
I feel rather behind in Japanese...I'm starting to get more nervous about it now that we are forming sentences. I think that the Korean girls in our class intimidate me subconsciously. They seem to grasp it a lot quicker than we do....maybe there is a similarity between the languages or perhaps they have studied before....or maybe they are just amazing, I don't know.

I just about used the crap out of my arm in 3-D today carving on my sculpture, but I'm done with sawing it....now down to using smaller tools to fine-detail it!
I'm kind of excited, but it's due in about a week, not to mention we have another project that we have to be working on.

We just started learning Dreamweaver and Web Design in my Compinart class. I am really loving it, and am thinking that this might be what I go into. Jenny/Sushi-Cat, a girl's blog that I follow rather religiously, is in web design and says that it pays very well. She also said that she interned and did work on the side to get some experience and that helped out a lot in getting her the wonderful job that she has today.

I am thinking that this might go somewhere....

I have to get up at 6:45 tomorrow to register for classes at 7.
UGGGHHH @___@

I'm not sure if I will feel like working out after that or not, but I sure need to. I am feeling not good again.

I am ready for the week to be over already....it's dragging.....at least the days are.

This morning I was anxious to work out since I hadn't in three days....

I didn't get all the way through it before I just about died from sheer exhaustion, but I did something, and I worked hard!

Then I had a strawberry yogurt for breakfast <3

The pollen outside is awful...it's covering EVERYTHING.

On the bright side, this weather is awesome.

I can stand some pollen if the weather would stay this nice.

I met Dustin on the way to class since I was running a little later today and we walked to class, actually getting there early. I noticed this tree outside of the CIP while we were waiting (because the inside of that building is hotter than Hell for some reason) and took a picture of its pretty flowers!
My phone's camera doesn't like to focus on up close things....

After school I went straight home to get the cake for tonight.
My sweet mommy had made it and the homemade icing for me and I just stirred in some coconut and iced the cake.

It was delicious.

I then headed over to a night full of delicious food, "That's what she said" jokes, and drawing on a guitar with amazing friends.

I never want to eat again.

Apparently drawing on guitars is fun....
There's got to be some money in this.
It already had some writing and doodles on it, so I drew a Belldandy for Moss.
Cause he loves him some Ah! My Goddess.

I still have to color it, but that is going to require specific marker colors...

This week is going to be hectic....

Today seemed like a really long day.

I slept until about 9 or 10 and stayed in a bed for a long time dozing in and out of sleep.

I finally got myself up and washed my face, then went and laid back down for another hour.
I don't really know why I was so tired, but apparently I was.
Just stress catching up with me I guess.

On another note, Lucas suggested that I be a carnie if I didn't want to dread mondays anymore....I showed him why that wouldn't be a good idea.

I would be a pretty terrifying carnival worker....I'd have to be a clown because I can't do anything else that's involved, I wouldn't think.

I finally forced myself to go downstairs around 12 with the consolation of pancakes.

I had some delicious pancakes (leftover...) and some eggs and grits that I shared with meh kitty.

She had full-breakfast tummy like I did.

And by breakfast, I mean lunch.

I wasted the day away with multiple cups of coffee, lounging, FFX, and more lounging.

I played drums for a little while and then took a shower and got ready so that I could take my mom uptown to get food to bring back.

She and I got Yummi Express <3
And we got my dad his favorite: fish sandwich from MickyD's.

I so tireddddd.

I really, really don't want to go to school tomorrow....
but the funny thing is, I am actually looking forward to working out because I missed Friday, Saturday and Sunday and I'm feeling kind of ....not good again, haha.

I'm too lazy to dress up this post.

Today was awesome....

and sucked right there toward the end.

I swear, if I ever had a completely good day without anything that shakes it up or causes drama, I will probably crap my pants in amazement.

I just want one good day, where nothing goes wrong, or I don't do something that makes other people feel bad.

Just one, completely good day.

WEEK

IS

OVERRRR

YEAH!

It's about time....

I got up and got ready to go meet Anna face at Starbucks for coffee, but her meeting with her advisor ran late and she didn't get to come so I just met her and Dustin at the Union so that we could study some Japanese before class.

After Anna left for her test, Dustin and I went to the cafeteria and got Grilled Chicken sandwiches from The Loop.
They were pretty good, but way overpriced.

We bought some gum on the way out and headed to JAPN to finish out the week.

It was SO HOT in the CIP. That building, I swear, does not have AC at all.

It's awful. And there are still about 6 more weeks of school for the weather to warm up. I'm already dying walking across campus in anything more than a t-shirt and some knee-length shorts.
It's horridly hot.

OH!
I forgot to post a picture the other day of my cooperative hair!

It was being less bratty than usual, I liked it!

The weather was beautifullll coming home from school..
Absolutely PERFECT weather again.

I was planning on washing my car again when I got home, but I didn't have coffee this morning so I had a HORRIBLE migraine.

So I drank a cup of coffee...

Got my mom to rub my head....

Took two Ibuprofen....

AND Sweet Dee-Dee came to cheer me up while I was lying on the couch <3

And STILL no relief.

It was hurting really bad, so I went to lay down and nap it off.
I knew that the ibuprofen wold kick in eventually and I usually sleep off migraines.

I didn't wake up until about 6:30 and my mom got back from picking up dinner at 7.

After we ate my mom showered and my dad and me bonded by watching a compilation of Alvarez fights on HDNET.

That guy is badass.

(picture on the right, duh)

So anyways, that was pretty cool.

My dad loves him some MMA.

Ohhhh the week is almost overrr!

I'm so glad.

The days have dragged by, but this week has thankfully not.
I'm ready for the weekend.

We ALL worked our @$$es of in 3-D today.....

Sawing and cutting on plaster for 3 HOURS.

A girl that sits at our table was trying to cut on her plaster mold and was having some trouble so Mr. Peterman tried to help her when he realized that something was very wrong with her plaster....

If you can't cut it with a big drill, and it even DULLS the drill bit...there might be something a bit off with the formula....

It was harder than concrete.....
That drill made the most awful grinding, screeching noise that I have ever heard in my life.
It was awwwwful.
x_______x

When I finally got out of computers in art I got to my cousin's house and we ate delicious dinner. It was like..this pork with onions and apples baked with it....SOOO GOOD.
We had that, green beans, rolls, and scalloped potatoes <3

After dinner we did dishes and cleaned up the kitchen
and I did some vacuuming....that apparently was much-needed....because it

TANGLED UP THE VACUUM THING.

We sat on the floor while my cousin literally, CUT OUT tangles of hair from the vacuum with scissors.
This is only part of what she cut out of it....
It was grody. O n O

After we got done cleaning we both just vegg'd on the couch and watched our usual shows:

16 and Pregnant
(this episode was sweet, but awful. her labor was intense and horrid)

and
ABDC !!! WHATS UP.
JUNGLE BOOGIE AND POREOTIX ROCKING THE HOUSE YO.

That episode was amazing.

Drew Barrymore is so beautiful.
I have always liked her as an actress and she has only gotten more beautiful.
It's sickening.

Coffee with my lovely Anna tomorrow morning,
Japanese quiz,
then coming home, probably clean up my car or room.

CLASH OF THE TITANS COMES OUT NEXT WEEKEND YEYAH.
