20/21

I keep missing days...what's up with me lately?
I used to be so dedicated to this ridiculous use of my time...

Anyways, 3-20 (Saturday) was VERY productive.
I got up after sleeping in, and had a bowl of cereal before doin' work on my car. It hasn't been thoroughly clean (inside or out) in over a year. It was way past due, but definitely better late than never.

Before and after on the front!
It's so amazingly beautiful now....I will have to take a picture of it tomorrow so that you can get the fully effect of its cleanliness.
Did I mention how PERFECT the weather was for car cleaning??
It was amazing.
And only one mosquito bite!

After 4 1/2 hours of intensive/extensive cleaning, I had plans to go see a friend's band play in Tallahassee and went down early to hang out.

During the show, big brother Lucas was working the front door with some other guys and I got bored.
What better to do in such a time than deface American currency?

It's still cycleable, so it's not illegal.

Without further ado,
I present to you....

The other day I did something epic, so naturally I will post such a rarity.

There was a mosquito flying around in my bathroom while I was getting ready to leave.
It flew right in front of my face while I was curling my hair.
In one fell swoop, and a "CLAP" of my straightening iron...
this was all that remained.
His little stinky mosquito body, frying on the surface of my vanity.

Don't mess with me.

The show was awesome. There was one soloist on acoustic guitar that did a really good John Mayer impression, and the two bands that played: Kimmer Rowe, (the one I went to support) and Jettison Never (from Chattenooga) were awesome! The show was incredible and I talked myself into buying a T-shirt....which there will be a gratuitous shot of at some point.
It's still in my purse...which is still in my car.

Now it's Sunday.
Pretty much the antithesis of Saturday.
I slept in until 10/10:30 and rolled out of bed, taking my time going through my facial cleansing routine. I made my way downstairs and practiced some hiragana and katakana for class tomorrow so that I wouldn't be completely oblivious to everything that we have learned so far. My parents made brunch, (eggs, cheese grits, bacon and pancakes) and we had a really nice meal at the dining table. It was delicious.

After we got dishes done, I decided to hook up my PS2 and play APE ESCAPE!

I have waited over 10 years to play this game, and it was so awesome to see it on a screen larger than me.

It wasn't recognizing my memory card and I couldn't find my other one, so I didn't play very far into the game. I could probably beat it within a few hours if I had that kind of spare time...

After I did that, I went and took a nap from about 1 ish to 3 ish.
I'm not sure why I was so tired. I haven't been going to bed any earlier or later to screw up my sleeping schedule, but maybe it just caught up with me.

When I got up I watched some tv with my mom and had some coffee.
Later, she left to get Sonny's for dinner and I filled out applications for Japan while she was gone.

Here they are!!
It still hasn't hit me yet....

Gratuitous picture of Alley:
Right before bed time.....right before she left me.

The Health Care Bill was passed....
This country is going to Hell in a hand-basket.

I secretly hope that something dramatic will happen either way in the United States while I'm over in Japan, so that everything is either fixed for me to come back, or it all goes to hell and I get ”stuck” over there.

おやすみなさい
