Busy with a chance of Denim Romper.

I woke up with that awful cough again today...it kind of sucks, but always subsides by the time that I leave for school.

I thought that it was going to be awful weather today, given that the Weather Man had told me it would and it was pouring down rain for a solid 30 minutes.

But

HA.

SUN SAYS "TAKE THAT."
Probably one of the most beautiful days that we have had recently.

On a completely different note, I found out about this Monday via text from Dustin.

111 ON MY JAPN MIDTERM WHATWHAT????

Yeyah.
That's what I'm talking about.

I missed the ones that I thought that I would miss, but at least I can figure out what it was that was giving me trouble.

I almost died today walking to Japanese.

Well, not DIED, but my nasal passages were burning and my chest was hurting really bad and it became very difficult to breathe....I was struggling, but I managed.

I didn't get lunch today because Dustin headed home after class and I was too lazy to go inside and get something.
Also, I wasn't really that hungry. I ate a Kashi bar in my car.

I am SOOO glad that my appetite is back to normal, I went through about two and a half weeks where my hunger was just a big, ugly, unsatisfiable monster.

Glad that's over.

I got a 97 on my CAH midterm!
That's awesome, because I totally bull-crapped my way through that....
Orenduff is the most amazing professor ever.

The weather sure was beautiful driving home today!

When I left town today I was going to meet my mom at Belk to do some quick shopping. We had gotten their pamphlet in the mail about all of their new items and saw some cute things that I wanted to check out.

We got a bunch of different things to try on (because most of them are "no's" immediately anyway).

This one made us laugh:

All we could think of was
"I like your sleeves. They're real big."

The print was amazingly cute, but the whole design of the shirt was just retarded.
There was a huge purple and silver zipper in the back, (ALL THE WAY DOWN THE BACK) and the sleeves were just hideously huge! It was like the 80s had a meltdown on this pretty fabric and Belk decided they would charge $30 for it! I don't THINK so!
I'll come back in a week when it's on sale if I like it....fickle department stores and their "In-Styles."

I tried on a bunch of different things that were okay, but nothing that I was dying to have other than this adorable romper!

(It doesn't look EXACTLY like that, but it's very very close)

So I got that and was pleased.
I'll wear it on my beach trip to Apalachicola and St. George this Saturday with Katelyn!

We are going to get up early and leave to go to Apalachicola for lunch and some shopping, then to St. George for a day at the beach!
(I'm not hugely fond of the beach, but I do love a day of relaxation here and there! I'm very excited, and now only get to see Katelyn maybe a few times a year if I am lucky, and I consider her my best friend.

I could gush for hours about her, but in a nutshell we are too much alike, and at the same time, just different enough. We have been friends since we started going to school, which started in '94 at Brookwood; been friends ever since (with a few bumps in the road as there are with any friendship).
I trust that girl with my life and always will.
She knows me better than anyone ever will, I think.

Anyways, back to the romper...
So when I was trying it on, I was having a MAJOR contact attack.
I had some junk on my contact which was causing it to obnoxiously swivel around on my eye uncontrollably, and I HATE that, so I just took them both out and threw them on the floor in anger.

Very mature, eh?

Well I showed those puppies who's boss.

After we left Belk, my mom and I drove in her car over to Publix to get subs for dinner and to pick up some roses so that I can make boutonnieres for the guys on Friday....

These roses are called "Blush" and they are the most amazingly beautiful roses that I have ever seen! (next to "antique," of course).
These boutonnieres are going to rock.

I'm so excited about the show!
Is that sad? The most exciting thing that has happened in my life lately is a two hour photography student show opening? And it's all because it's with two awesome friends and we get to dress up?

Yeah.

I'm pretty easy to please.

When we got back home we ate and watched the Season Finale recording of "My Life as Liz."
I'm so sad it's over for now, I've never been so hopelessly addicted to such a seemingly pointless show.

I got to wear glasses for the rest of the night while I did my work...
I'm all intellectual, yo.

I had to make foam moquettes (which took all night)
plaster swatches, and take pictures for a portfolio.
I'm still not done with everything and will have to get up early tomorrow to finish.
At least I don't have Comp. in Art tomorrow night, so i'll be home by 6!
Nice.
I'm going to find something amazing to do when I get back,
maybe watch "The Princess Bride" in my room with...I don't know....a huge hot cup of tea or something.

.....riveting.

Isn't my life so amazing and exciting??
I should make a blog.

....oh wait.

I also found out that we have a Japan Study Abroad meeting this SUNDAY at 1:30. Not the most convenient of times....but I think that they were trying to plan around the GSU students that are going or something.

I'm so beat from the day.

I can't wait to have next week off.
Ima go see meh Emily on wednesday!
I'm excited! I haven't seen Emily sinceeee.....a long time! Like, October??
It's been too long.
They set a date for their wedding!! I'm so excited for them!
*lives vicariously through all of the excitement of a wedding*

Jeri is coming in this weekend for Caitlyn's wedding, I'm not sure if I will get to see her at all, maybe Sunday morning, this week is all jumbled up.

I need to find something to do Mon/Tues and Thurs through Saturday to keep my occupied so as to ensure that I get the most out of my break.

I am NOT going to be ready to go back to school. I'm already dreading it.
