Hectic day....Relaxing night!

I woke up later than I usually do again today...I have been very unrested lately and I'm not sure why, I have been sleeping really hard, but never feel rested and my mom has been having to get me up the past week or so because I don't wake up at 7:30 like I used to...

it kind of stinks.

I almost dozed off driving to school this morning with the sun on my face and the gentle vibrations of my subwoofer lulling me to sleep...not good.

____________

Today I was taking my time walking to class in my long-butt-hike appropriate shoes (chucks) and was hearing and seeing ambulances and police cars all day for different reasons, and when I finally got to the Center for International Programs building across campus, there was an ambulance and three police cars in front of it with a gurney outside the front door...

When I got inside the building Sugako-sensei led me me into the conference room because the EMTs and officers were in our classroom. She said that a student in the 1002 class that is before ours had a seizure during class...I saw her on the gurney as they were taking her out to the ambulance and she looked as if she was still seizing...it was very sad and concerning, but I think that everything ended up being alright...or at least I hope it is now.

In class today we had a quiz that I know I ACED. Yeyah! I love my Japanese class.
Then we started learning....the dreaded katakana u____u;; I am going to have to do some serious studying with these...I haven't even looked at them before this.

And that's only PART of them...there are still more after that page....

Here is a picture of Sugako-sensei's drawing that she put on my homework when I drew a little chibi of myself for our introductions...

She is so hilarious....
"Da old guy ask direction from da porice guy."

So when Dustin was dropping me off at the UC (which was a hellish affair because half of the traffic was being blocked by road work and the other half by stupid discourteous drivers) we got to observe the creeper workmen...

That's totally them checking out a college girl that was wearing soffee shorts that were WAY too short in proportion to how tall she was.
I recommend taking the long way by crossing three intersections (like I did) just to avoid the feeling that you are most definitely being watched from behind, whether you are attractive like said girl, or dressed like a boy (like I was).

After my Contemp. Art History Class, Prof. Orenduff (aka the cutest lady ever) let us out early in celebration of Chinese New Years and Valentine's Day! I keep forgetting that I don't have that class on Fridays....
She gave us a Dove chocolate and a fortune cookie. It's going to be the Year of the Tiger!

My fortune:

I like the sound of this.

I had the most beautiful clouds to look at on the way home today!! It was completely blanketing the entire sky from horizon to horizon.

Soooo amazing!! M/W are the best days because I get to see the sunsets!
Only downside is that the sun is always glaring in my eyes and I'm too short for the sun-visor to do any good >___>

On another note....my eyes have crazy colors in the sun!!! It's NUTS.
Sometimes I wish that I had gotten my dad's pretty blue eyes, but I saw a girl that looked just like me once (with a cuter nose) that had blue eyes and it looked ....not like me. So I appreciate the ones I have, no complaints here.

I got to play drums for the first time in about two weeks today!

My hands were all...."you stink" and, "I'm hot."

I was supposed to go over to Dustin and Lucas's house to eat Lasagna with Moss but Dustin hasn't been feeling well lately and we decided to rain check...
Once I got done playing drums I left with mom to go pick up Yummi Express and run by Lowe's to get that stupid Plaster of Paris for my 3D class....
I got a Teriyaki Chicken dinner with Broccoli and asked the asian lady if I could get carrots instead of broccoli to which she replied "it all comes with carrots." So I was all, "Sweet, thanks."

Then my mom pointed out this sign to me:

In the very bottom right hand corner:
"Carrots can not substitute for anything."
Next to it on the left:
"All entrees and Combinations Include Fried Rice, SWEET CARROTS
and Shrimp Sauce...(etc.)"

So I felt doubly stupid after that.
Why do I do these things??

Not only did I get a great sky on the way home from school, we had an amazing sky on the way home from the food run!!

This picture was taken with my phone and doesn't do it justice at all,
it was the most beautiful cerulean blue that I have ever seen, it looked like an ocean that you could just jump right into...so beautiful!

(Sorry it's very dark...but trust me, it was awesome.)

_____________

After an incredibly long day I came home, ate my dinner, and promptly regretted it, because I wasn't really hungry. I need to stop doing that, it's so stupid.

Thennnn.....

FINALLY. Relaxing bubble bath with my special B&B Amber Bubble Bath
to end the night.

I'll probably redo this gosh-awful toenail polish that has been on there for months after this....my feet need some TLC.
