I woke up bright-eyed and bushy-tailed promptly at 8:30.....not rested.
I don't know what unseen force dragged me out of my bed, but it did. Were it a seen force, it would be dead by now...
or at least horribly mangled.
I did my morning routine, including workout, halfway through my art professor calls me to tell me that we won't be meeting today like we had planned so that I could get my photographs from the school system computer for the Spring Show (that I'm still in, regardless of the fact that I don't go to TU anymore....SCORE.)
I guess am going to enter my large charcoal pencil self-portrait with the green text and then 5-7 photographs. The other to people in the show are my friends from photography and drawing, Michael and Becca. They are pretty much awesome.
Michael's series on reflection that he took of his younger sister are amazing and I haven't seen all of them yet, so I am really looking forward to that, and I know that I haven't seen all of Becca's distorted photos taken through a drinking glass yet. This is going to be a good show....

Breakfast time!!

おいしいです!
I had a visitor come see me this morning....

...but he just wanted a chin-scratch.

After I got completely ready to go to school I was going to grab some lunch before I left and remembered that I still had that little bit of Yummi Express left over!

HAPPY DAY!!

You can't REALLY tell by my mouth-expression, but there was much happiness.
Also brushed up on some of the katakana that we are learning....
Oh my gosh, these are so difficult....my brain is exploding.

So when I got in the car to head out to school, I realized that, like usual, I was running low on gas at a very inconvenient time.
Great.

So, I had to stop for gas....but at least it was a nice station in town and not some hick one out in the middle of nowhere....

So when I finally did get to school, I had:
My wooden art supply box with conveniently NOT-helpful handle
my camera bag + car keys
and
A 25 LB. BOX OF PLASTER OF PARIS.
I WANTED TO TEAR MY ARM OFF WHEN I FINALLY MADE IT TO THE ROOM.
It was so heavy!!

I had to stop several times and lean it all up against a wall so readjust and make sure that I wasn't going to just give up and throw everything out on the ground...
And then, and hour of lecture on how to make plaster of paris work to our advantage, and another full hour and a half of tedious floral-foam molding with hands/carving tools (that I didn't have).

That dust gets everywhere and is still all mushed into the fibers of my shirt! I can see the sparkles on my hands...I need a good cleaning.
And after that long walk carrying the 25lb box...I was a bit more than dismayed to find that it wasn't going to fit in my locker!!
But I'm smart sometimes, and took the bag out of the box and it did fit in my locker....which was very much appreciated.

So after having Tuesday night's Comp.in.art (CIA) class off, I was apprehensive in going to tonight's....

So onward I went to get me some Chik-fil-a

Feel the jealousy rising??
That's extra pickles there, on my sandwich.
They do that for me because I'm special.

There was also special parking at the apartment complex just for me!!!

And I had a reserved spot at the table!
I'm treated like a ..... member of higher society here in Valdosta!!
That's pretty much it for today's adventure....got some Japanese homework to do tonight...then pootin' around on the compooter before I doze off to dreamland on the couch...that is probably infected with my cousin's sick roommate's germs...I'm lysoling the crap out of that thing in a little while.....
