I'm officially a n00b.

シングルテリージェッーです。

As a first time blogger, I have already come to the realization that, with my small handful of friends, the only person that is going to read or even look at this is my mom; but be you someone other than my mother, congratulations: you are in the handful of friends that I care about most, and you know who you are anyway. <3

This blog is going to be a frequently updated page about (my life obviously....riveting....) and everything else leading up to, during, and after my Study Abroad Trip to Japan. This will be somewhere that I can vent about whatever, update those that follow, and try to keep myself motivated and enthusiastic about the Japan Trip 2010...(not that I think I will need it....but just in case.)

This is just the initial post to kind of introduce myself, though hopefully the only people reading this know me in person and should therefore already know about me....

I have had an excessive interest in Japanese culture and language (along with all aspects of the life in Japan in general) since I was around the age of ten or twelve. I have known for about 6 years that the one thing that I want to do before I die (besides the whole settle-down-ASAP-and-be-an-amazing-wife/mother/employee/whatever else-thing...) is to go to Japan; Now that I am finally getting to experience that, it's all very surreal, and I really don't think that the very shocking realization of the fact that I am ACTUALLY GOING will hit me until I get to the airport, boarding pass in hand.

This blog will just keep up with whatever I feel like blogging, isn't that AWESOME??

June is steadfastly approaching and I'm starting to feel noxious...but hopefully that will go away soon.

I doubt anyone will read this, but if you have questions, I will gladly take them.

That's what this is for: keeping up with me if you care!
