Another incredibly long day.

Geez.

But I was at peak production.
I got so much stuff done today, it's ridiculous.

My mom woke me up 15 minutes late this morning (which is almost all of the time that I had set aside for my work out), so I didn't get to work out this morning.

I left around 8:45, and got to school at 9:45, with exactly enough time for me to get everything done that I needed to before my professor left for lunch!
There was at least 6 other people in the wood shop today too....
it was nuts.

I used a bandsaw, a belt sander, AND a drill press today!

Before I left for school my mom had whipped up some grits and eggs and put it in a to-go cup and set it next to the mug that I take every day.
I when I saw it in the car, I looked over and thought,
"That's weird that my mom would set that coffee cup like that...it's teetering and could fall at any minute."

So I grabbed it to take a sip and thought,
"This coffee isn't very full, or warm.....and it smells like eggs and grits...

Oh."

Yeah, I totally almost tried to drink my grits and eggs.

Anyways, after an incredibly long day, full of very tiring walking across campus (with short legs, mind you), this is the product of my laborious....labor.

But taken with a bad camera phone and from one  angle.
I will have better shots once I take them in front of the infinity screen.

After I was home for a little while, my mom informed me that my dad and Lucas were going to be over in the little house/office working on packing some orders to be shipped.

We decided to go get dinner from DQ, bring it back, eat it, and then watch Precious, just me and her because we knew that my dad didn't care anything about seeing it and this was confirmed when we asked anyway and he replied....
"Nnnno."

While we were in Cairo, I remembered that Dustin had requested if I was in town to stop by the closing Movie Gallery to get a movie for him that was on sale.
This whole time he had been saying
The House that Preys
which made me picture some sort of horror movie.
Then he said it for the 100th time and said
The Family that Preys
instead.....

"It's a Tyler Perry movie."

"Dustin, I saw that on the other day on a channel that we don't get and wasn't going to record it for you because I thought that's what it was, but I couldn't because we don't get that channel and then I thought that I had it wrong and that you wanted something called The House that Preys, so this whole time I have been looking for the wrong movie...."

Then I found it.

He told me to grab two copies and get the least scratched one.
(I don't think that either of them would be too scratched...it is a Tyler Perry movie after all....)
I took two copies up to the register and explained to the girl that I was given specific orders and for her to please pick the "least scratched" dvd of the two.

She took one out of the safety-locked case and held it up to the light, squinting her eyes to examine it because that always seems to help.
"Well, this one doesn't have ANY scratches....
only thing is is there's a kiss mark on it."

"....ummm.....what?"

"There's some lip marks on it from somebody's mouth."

"Oh, wow.....that's.....awkward.  How about the other one."

(Repeat process until dialogue)

"This one doesn't have any scratches either....just really dusty!"

"I'll definitely take that one then.  No drama or baggage."

"Yeah, I think what happened is someone just stuck it in their mouth to hold it for a second."

(I don't think she understood my joke.)

So for the same price that you can buy a mediocre coffee, you can buy a dvd that someone has made out with....or just left sitting on a table for the duration of their rental because they figured out it was a Tyler Perry movie.

Precious was rrreaaallly intense, and not by any means an enjoyable movie, per say.  It was very dramatic and disturbing, but also very good.  I'm not sure that I was in the right mood to watch it, but I don't regret it.  It was a very well done film as a whole.

I stuffed my face full of Cadbury Mini Eggs the entire time.

When we got done with the movie we channel surfed until it was about 10....it crept up on us.

Today was one of the longest, more hectic days I have had in a while, but also one of the most productive.
