BUSY!

Busssy busy busy busy busy day today guys!

I slept like crap again last night....

but at least I slept from about 11:00-3:00, then from 3:30-6:30,

So I got a good amount of sleep, it just wasn't enjoyable.

I woke up early to get ready to go to another eye-doctor appointment.

It took a little longer than we wanted because she kept switching out my contacts when all I really want her to do is switch me back to my old kind, just with a new prescription u__u;;

Anyways, one of the ladies came to us and said "Your frames came in yesterday but we will have to cut the lenses for them, it shouldn't take long."

And I'm thinking, crap, now I have to come back for them this week....but she meant "shouldn't take too long" as in...about 15 minutes.

Stuff like that is insane to me, that something that seems like it should take forever doesn't, and something that seems like it shouldn't take forever, does.

*sigh*

Anyway, I don't think that my glasses could have come with a cuter case!

And here are the infamous Lilly Pulitzer glasses!

Apparently I was the first person in Cairo to purchase Lilly's.

This makes me feel cool.

On the way home my mom dropped by Burger King to get me some breakie.

The coffee cup lids have a hilarious face on them XD

We got back home around 9.

I slept from 9:00-9:45,

9:45-10:45,

and at 10:45 I just laid awake for a bit before I just decided to get up and get ready.

So I did get some extra sleep and I'm sure glad, I wouldn't have made it to school today without falling asleep if I didn't.

Mannnnn was it a beautiful day or WHAT?!

After three laborious hours of tedious carving on my plaster project and feeling pressured and stressed about getting everything done by Thursday, I called my mom and decided to skip my Computers in Art class tonight, because if I didn't come straight home and work on this project there was no way that I was going to have it done in time to be ready by Thursday.

On the way out of town (I get stopped by this red light EVERY DAY), there was a little bird walking right in the cross walk across the way!

When I got home, I got straight to work and worked from 6:00 to 8:30, non stop carving.

I think that I am pretty much done with it, tomorrow I will have to paint sealant over it, design a wooden base, cut said wooden base, coat that base with a sealant, drill a hole in the bottom of my sculpture, drill a hole in the wooden base, cut a peg, and put it all together.

Tomorrow is going to be a lonnnnng day.

Apparently I also have a CAH exam that I forgot about.

Hopefully winging it will work like it usually does.

It's funny that I can BS my way through any written assignment, but really suck at being creative and doing things like this project I'm doing now.

I am so stressed....I seriously need a vacation.

I want to go back to St. Augustine so badly.

I made tomorrow's To-Do List and wrote as much in Japanese as I could since we have been learning times and scheduling things lately.

Hectic week....at least my allergies are getting less intense.

It will get better!!

Also, I'm forcing myself to get up at 7 tomorrow and work out.

I am so disgusted with myself right now, it's not even funny.
